How to setup a Kiosk Tablet

Once you have powered on the tablet either through PoE or its DC barrel socket, you should see the following window:

Admin Code - This is the code that is used to access the kiosk admin panel (see How to access the Kiosk Admin Panel), and should be the same on all tablets in the same installation.

Dispatcher Address - This is the IP address and port of the dispatcher on the closed dispatcher network, which should be '192.168.10.20:8000' for most installations.

Kiosk Types:

• Riser - This is the landing input mode, floor index is indexed from zero from the lowest floor in the building, and riser index is the horizontal panel index, usually from left to right / clockwise.
• Panel - This is the in-car status mode, Lift Index is the lift car indexed usually from left to right / clockwise, Door Index is the door index of the panel if there are multiple displays per car, and Deck Index is the deck index if this is a double deck lift.
• Indicator - This is unused

Display Orientation - This is the orientation of the tablet, Left and Right are portrait modes. This can only be changed from the setup window.

To save the configuration and launch the kiosk, click Accept. The console may freeze for a minute or two, but it will then launch the kiosk, and the configuration will be launched instantly when powered on in the future.
