Why is the elevator bypassing a floor?

Modified on Fri, 2 Oct at 10:21 AM

The in-car display shows the elevator’s planned route for all calls currently allocated to it, including those for passengers waiting to be collected.

Assuming passengers have entered their destinations correctly, everyone currently in the car is travelling to Reception. There, the elevator will collect passengers travelling to floors 2, 4 and 5.

The stop at floor 2 is therefore planned for the upward journey after Reception.
